Hayward DARE graduates honored

Hayward fifth grade students who completed the 10-week Drug Awareness and Resistance Education (DARE) course received their certificates at a June 6 ceremony at the Intermediate School gym.
Hayward Police Department DARE Officer Douglas Mrotek welcomed the students, and the officers who participated in congratulating the students: Sawyer County Sheriff Mark Kelsey, Chief Deputy Brigette Kornbroke, Deputy Darin Jensen and Sawyer County Truancy Officer Jeff Hoehne; City of Hayward Police Chief Joel Clapero, Assistant Chief Craig Faulstich, School Resource Officer Jim Marucha, and Officers J.T. Wohling and Drew Knoop.
