Culture Shock

San Diego Dance Troupe

Culture Shock was started in 1993 by Angie Bunch, a professional dancer and Nike, Inc. Fitness Athlete.  Angie gathered together a professional performing troupe of dancers, and by the end of the year, Culture Shock San Diego was born. 

It has since expanded from a professional performance company to include one that provides dance education at the Culture Shock Dance Center, and a youth outreach organization as well.  

Future Shock and Mighty Shock are two of Culture Shock’s young dance groups trained and mentored by the Culture Shock dancers. 

Culture Shock San Diego is the Headquarters of the national non-profit organization, Culture Shock Dance Troupes, Inc. 

Culture Shock San Diego 2006 is under the direction of Sherman Shoate, Rainen Paguio, Eddie Gutierrez and Cheyenne.
