Starlites Junior

The Starlites Junior team is from the Huron Physical Arts Center in Port Huron, Michigan.  The team consists of 18 talented girls from the Port Huron and surrounding areas.  The team performs and competes in the pom, jazz, lyrical and officer line categories through the Showcase America Unlimited organization.

In 2007 Michigan State competition, the team placed 1st in the pom, jazz, lyrical and officer line categories.  In the 2007 Showcase America Unlimited National competition, the team placed 1st in the jazz category, 2nd in the lyrical category, 4th in pom and 3rd in officer line.  The officer line received the bronze medal for their performance. 

The team practices and competes year-round.  They are coached by Kelly Higgins and Christie Charron. 

Starlites Senior                     

 The Starlites Senior team is from the Huron Physical Arts Center in Port Huron, Michigan.  The team is made up of 14 talented young ladies from the Port Huron and surrounding areas.  The team performs and competes in the pom, jazz, lyrical, officer line and hip hop categories.

In the 2007 Michigan State competition, the team placed 1st in the pom, jazz, officer line and hip hop categories, and 2nd in the lyrical category.  In the 2007 Showcase America Unlimited National Championships, the Starlites Senior team was named National Champions in the pom category, receiving the Gold Medal.  They placed 2nd in the officer line category receiving the Silver Medal.  They also placed 3rd in lyrical and 6th in both the jazz and hip hop categories. 

The team practices and competes year-round.  They also participate in a number of community events and parades throughout the year.  The team is coached by Kelly Higgins and Christie Charron.
