Mr. Michael Love of Love Chevrolet in Columbia, S.C. donated a New Chevy Cruise and Mr. Barry Johns of Sign-A-Rama in Irmo donated the signage on the sides and back window. Mr. Love expressed how he is proud to support the community and feels that the D.A.R.E. program is a good way to reach our future leaders. Mr. Johns feels that the bond developed between the D.A.R.E. Instructor and the students have a lasting influence on a child and they will remember the acronym D.A.R.E as a decision making model that will help them make wise decisions for life. Sheriff Lott is very grateful for Love Chevrolet’s and Sign-A-Rama’s donation. Deputy Sharpe feels that relations between law enforcement and citizens seems relaxed when she is driving the SC D.A.R.E. car getting many smiles and waves from all ages.
