Belleview Budget Increase Puts D.A.R.E. Back in School

D.A.R.E. was started in 1983 as a program taught by law enforcement officers to promote saying no to drugs. It now includes lesson plans for K-12 students that address issues including violence, bullying and internet safety. The program had not been active in Belleview schools for about 10 years.
